The Daily Pagerie has shut down

I remember the joy and excitement I felt after putting the finishing touches to The Daily Pagerie website.

It’s bittersweet because I’ve always wanted to have an online shop.

I loved the idea of waking up each morning to sell stationery, school supplies, secondhand books, and other items to folks who loved the same things I did. It eventually became a place where I could potentially share my poetry or collab work.

Sadly, I went through years of not even visiting or updating the site. It became a passion project that died in the backlog when other more important things happened in my life.

I might also shut down my Shopee store because of how tiring the platform has been to use. I’ll hopefully find an opportunity to declutter without adding too much digital “real estate” for this purpose alone.

It was a fun experience, though, and one that somehow improved my skills of building a website on my own. Perhaps version 2 of that shop would be riding on Diwa Daily. Who knows.
